Mission
As Commercial Manager (m/f/d) Automotive at Binder you take over responsibility and contribute actively to the international expansion of Binder in Europe. You will lead a geographically dispersed team and focus on sales and business development activities to build long-term relationships with cars and trucks OEMS as well as the related tier structure from R&D up to the management. Therefore, you identify business opportunities and continuously work on improving business success for both parties – the customer and Binder. You will plan, manage, and execute sales strategies to identify early-stage projects and develop customer relationships as well as to drive growth in Europe. Based on market analysis and your contacts with customers, you cooperate with the colleagues of product marketing and R&D to further develop the product portfolio and meet future market and customer requirements. Furthermore, you represent Binder at industrial trade shows and conferences.
Requirements (“must have”)
  • Relevant university diploma (e.g., industrial engineering) or equal by experience  
  • Several years of experience in a technical sales and a business development role in the Automotive industry as well as relevant leadership experiences 
  • Profound experience in the development of concepts for market strategies
  • Ability to recognize customer needs and build partnerships with new and existing customers 
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills  
  • Professional English language skills 
  • High willingness to travel
